      • Style Winners and Losers - April 28th, 2008

      April 28th, 2008

      Melissa Morra and Christopher Turner

Marchesa designs were the big winners this week but we had six big losers, including a football player wannabe and an aspiring figure skater.

      Molly Sims

Melissa: Thank God for Marchesa is all I have to say…okay, maybe that’s not all I have to say. But, it really is a rare occasion when I don’t like a piece by the designers. Actress and model Molly Sims chose this unique black gown with jewelled embellishments on the bodice for the Night of a Thousand Lights event and looked fabulous. I'm not terribly fond of her hairstyle but she still looks great.
      Her Verdict: Style Winner

Christopher: I love it too. And I love the Marchesa gals. They always create beautiful red carpet gowns, like this one, by paying attention to the smallest details. The jewelled embellishment across the top of Molly’s draped gown is a perfect example. It takes the dress to a whole other level. It’s modern, feminine and incredibly distinctive - like all Marchesa pieces.
      His Verdict: Style Winner

Who do you think were the best and worst dressed this week?
      Anonymous says:
I thought Gwenyth looked amazing and Madonna's stylist should be fired. Just a thought!
      Anonymous says:
I love Janet Jackson but I agree the pant suit was ridiculous and at least iron it?! I not a Christina Ricci fan, but her dress was super cute on her. Madonna made the casual dress work for her.
      Wilma Boyd says:
I think both of you are scared of Madonna!!! That looks hideous, a different color stocking would make difference? But I doubt it! Any other actress in the same outfit would have been marked loser!
      Thea says:
I don't know if anyone agrees with me on this one. Janet Jackson can't dress in general. All her outfits are so tacky. She should fire her stylist
      Anonymous says:
I think this is an awful dress! I must congratulate Mischa for wearing unique clothing always!
      Anonymous says:
I think this is a beautiful, colourful dress that shows off her legs, and the pumps look great, considering they are "orthapedic?". This outfit suits her physique and enhances her look.
      Fashion Showman says:
Moly Sims has a dress that makes her body burn.
      Anonymous says:
I kind of like Ginnifer's look - she's going for a Kate Hudson-boho chic vibe. But the heels don`t work at all. Oh, and Lake Bell and Janet Jackson should be thoroughly ashamed.
      Anonymous says:
I too am wondering why the two critics agree on every single outfit whats up with that you two siamese twins?
      Anonymous says:
Ginnifer Goodwin's dress was cute and she looks sexy.
      Anonymous says:
Oh get over Janet's past and judge for today if that really is what you get paid for! She looks quite cute in this outfit. I have noticed you two do have your favorites irregardless how they dress!
      Sarah says:
Well, I have to say, without the giant pockets and horrid sleeves, this dress would actually be pretty cute.
      Anonymous says:
I do not understand why madonna's hideous get-up is considered a winner. It is disgusting. I am a fashion consultant for many and I would never pick that for one of my customers.
      Anonymous says:
I think your both on the money this week with all of your hits and your misses this week! Keep it up!
      Anonymous says:
Never mind the fashion part here, what I find annoying is to hear the critics agree on everything together...one does not like the color, so neither does the other...have an opinion for crying out lou

      Style Winners & Losers - April 21st, 2008

Another good week for winning style, but some of the disasters were utterly embarrassing.

      Style Winners & Losers - April 14th, 2008

It was a great week for style winners.  Christopher and Melissa saw some lovely ladies looking pretty in pink and a couple of stunners in green.  Who do you think looked the best?

      April 7th, 2008

Melissa Morra and Christopher Turner join forces to review this week's Style Winners and Losers.  Will they agree or agree to disagree?
