To be accepted for publishing, your story must:
(i) be factual and include details of how and where you met;
(ii) be your own composition;
(iii) you must be 18 years of age or older to participate;
(iv) be no more than 400 words in length;
(v) contain no explicit or offensive content (we reserve the right to edit if necessary);
(vi) be written in English, grammatically correct and contain no spelling errors. Stories with excess errors will NOT be published.
In addition to these submission guidelines, when you submit your story, you must also submit a photo taken by you, of you and your partner only for publishing with your story. You must have written permission from your partner to submit the photo to Sympatico.
By submitting your story and photo to Sympatico, you are granting Sympatico perpetual, irrevocable, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt and publish your story and photo.
Sympatico reserves the right to reject your story or photo – even for reasons not explicitly listed above, if we feel that your story or photo is not appropriate for our site or for our viewers.
